Horsman's Fashion Doll Cindy

I love vintage fashion dolls with jointed elbows and knees, and I have acquired several that have become favorites. My blonde Cindy doll pictured here was made by Horsman in the mid-fifties. She is approximately 19 inches tall. Her body is of one-piece stuffed vinyl construction, with ball joints at the shoulders and elbows. Her legs are not jointed, but they are flexible and poseable.

I have another Cindy doll, and I will be adding her pictures later. She is the harder plastic one with twist waist and jointed knees. Fun doll!

Horsman named a lot of their dolls Cindy, and most of them seem to have been boxed wearing wedding or bridesmaid-type gowns. I enjoy dressing my Cindys like 50's movie stars!
