Chatty Cathy

Here is one of Mattel's all-time favorites! My Chatty is Mattel's 1998 amazing reproduction of the original Chatty Cathy doll. I sew not only from Chatty Cathy patterns, but others as well. Her toddler-shaped body is very similar in size to some of the other dolls I sew for, which results in a wide selection of handmade fashions for my customers.

I can see why Chatty Cathy had (and still has) such wide appeal. Every time I pull her string, my baby granddaughter gets a huge smile on her face and her eyes light up as if it were Christmas morning!
