24-25 Inch High Heel Doll

The lean and lanky beauty in the swimsuit is a vintage gal who represents just about every 24-25 inch high heel doll made in the 1950's. They were marketed under various names -- Lovable Linda or Lovable Louise, Sweet Jane or Gail or Judy, Rags To Riches, Bonnie The Beautiful Bride, and others. You will find variations in hair and eye color, and some have the jointed waist. When I was a kid, I had one named Dale Evans and she wore the complete cowgirl outfit, including boots and hat. I've seen that one on eBay every now and then.

There are also many vintage dolls in this size range with the soft one-piece stuffed body. However, the stuffed vinyl doll appears to have been more common in the large 29 to 30-inch sizes of the grocery store dolls such as *Sweet Rosemary*.
