15/16-Inch Fashion Dolls (Gene ~ Alex ~ Elle)

Gene Marshall was created by Mel Odom for The Ashton-Drake Galleries. She is the ultimate fashion doll. Although she wasn't made in the 1950's, she wears vintage fashion like a real clothes horse. You'll love her flair as she models everything from jeans to evening gowns for the 15/16-inch fashion dolls! Gene has a wonderful success story, and I'll tell you more about her later.

Alexandra Fairchild Ford is better known as just Alex. Her experience as Editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine (ELAN) makes her the perfect model for elegant fashion. Even in sportswear, she maintains an enviable stylish grace. I wouldn't think of going online with my handmade creations without Alex. She is 16 inches tall, and she absolutely reeks of style. Watch for Alex on the runway wearing Lady Camellia's one of a kind clothing and hats for the 15-16" fashion dolls.

Elle is a most gorgeous fashion doll. Now discontinued, she was made by Pacific Jakks. She is one of the least expensive of the 15/16-inch fashion dolls to come along in a while. Too bad she was discontinued. I find her to be a lot of fun to pose -- and her hair is about hip length! Elle can trade clothes with Ashton Drake's Gene and Madam Alexander's Alex dolls, so her wardrobe possibilities are endless! You will usually find lively auctions for Elle on eBay as she is still a very popular doll.
